Kids and Gardening

I love it when the kids fall asleep on the way home...carrying them upstairs to bed, pregnant, not so much.

The kids love going out and picking things from the garden. If only they liked weeding as much.

We have been eating a looooot of peas and radishes the last few weeks. This cool spring was great for them.

Caleb Is 2

Happy Birth day Chubs!!!!! Obviously Caleb is into Elmo right now. MaryAnn helped me frost the Elmo cake, ok, she did almost all of it.

His favorite gift was a regift. We put batteries in an old "tickle me Elmo" toy that hasn't had batteries for a long time and wrapped it up and he loved it and carried it around all day. (Thanks Michelle who gave it to Kaitlyn when she was little).

We love you Caleb! Here are a few of the things that I want to remember about you when you were still one.
*You always tell me "no" when I ask you anything and then say "all right" after words.
*You bolt for the front door anytime it is open and love to ride any little bike. You look like Fred Flinstone with your little feet going a mile a minute and easily keep up with the adults walking.
*You are constantly trying to play in the car, with the vacuum, etc.
Your frowny face, smiley face is adorable.
Anyway, we love you tons. You are so easy going and yet into everything. You are amazing.

Kait's poem about Moms

Kait was frustrated with me the other day and wrote this down to relieve the stress. She informed me, as she handed it to me, that somethings I would like but some things were probably not going to make me too happy.

Moms: nice, mean, grouchy, busy, fun, screams their heads off, disagreement, wonderful, too silly, loving, helping children find their way to heaven.

My Boys

Hyrum's new $5.00 garage sale bike. He loves it.

Caleb's head after riding his bike off of the deck.

So Handsome!

Hyrum woke me up from a nap to tell me he had made a cake but needed me to get him the beaters. He told me he put eggs, and taco seasoning, and garlic, and all kinds of stuff. What a relief that he had used the hard boiled eggs from Easter so it wasn't as messy as my groggy pregnant mind envisioned.(If it had of been DCFS might have prevented me from posting any pictures I might have taken after finding it.)

One of my Mothers Day gifts. (It is being used to block a small gap in the fence that Caleb could get through. Lazy or ingenius??) I have never seen a purple rose so when it bloomed I was thrilled.
