Communism vs Consecration

China Easter Crackdown

Church members detained

TNA article

I have had several people ask me if communism is about the same as consecration....it isn't.
Ezra Taft Benson said it this way. "Communism in practice is socialism....Socialism cannot work except through an all-powerful state. The state has to be supreme in everything. When individuals begin to exert their God-given rights, the state has to suppress that freedom. So belief in God must be suppressed, and with that gone freedom of conscience and religion must also go. Those are the first of our liberties mentioned in the Bill of Rights. " ETB talk

Anyway, when I saw the freedoms denied these people as they tried to worship yesterday, and in general, and I felt bad. I hope everyone had a happy Easter. I'm glad we were able to worship yesterday "according to the dictates of our own conscious" and am grateful for the constitution and the freedoms that it protects. I thank my Savior for His suffering in fulfilling His unimaginable roll in our Fathers plan.

Armageddon????

Ahh, the world is coming to and end. I just heard my 4 year old ask my 7 year old if she would play Go Fish with him. She said, "not until the train tracks and the cushions all over the floor are cleaned up." Then he said, "ok, and now he is cleaning them up."

Where are my real children and who has them??????

Wait, peace and equilibrium have been reestablished. He quit and they have flopped them selves down in front of the T.V. Sigh!!!

Too Much Saliva

So I went to lunch yesterday with some family and realized that I was producing too much saliva in my mouth. So this morning I took a pregnancy test. I know that some people don't tell anyone until they're showing, oh wait, I think I am showing so..."I AM PREGNANT". That saliva thing is the worst part of pregnancy for me. Does anyone else get that?

Why I like Blogs

I got to watch a couple of nieces and a nephew Friday and Saturday, I could totally love someone else's kids if I ever had to take in other children, but anyway... The 5 year old boy woke up in the night and was a little scared so I lay down on the floor by the couch he was sleeping on and waited for him to fall back to sleep. He was really cute, he just didn't "want to be left alone." Anyway, as I lay there I was glad that my sister blogs as much as she does because although I don't see these nieces and nephews too often I love this boy in large part because I know him through his mom's blogs.

Candlelight Breakfast

So when I came down stairs this morning Kaitlyn had poured herself and Hyrum a bowl of cereal and a glass of milk and put this candle in between. After Hyrum came down and they started to eat I heard this conversation and I thought it was funny.

Kait: "Hyrum, look at what I have done for you. You just don't appreciate me."

Hyrum: "I do apprecialate you."

Kait: "UM what does apprecialate mean?"

Hyrum: "Uh...Kait, I love you."

This isn't really a conversation I think they learned from Rob and I but it was so classic boy and girl that it was funny.

Caleb "Jimmer" Adams--fireplace update for Cathy

Ok, we have been planing on Caleb playing NFL for our retirement security, he's simply too chubby for basketball, or so we thought. But his middle name is James and after seeing this picture of Freddette as a Deacon we are willing to be flexible.

I need to figure out how to decorate it cute....the fireplace mantel, not Caleb.

Like I said, football is our first choice.
