Ahh, the world is coming to and end. I just heard my 4 year old ask my 7 year old if she would play Go Fish with him. She said, "not until the train tracks and the cushions all over the floor are cleaned up." Then he said, "ok, and now he is cleaning them up."
Where are my real children and who has them??????
Wait, peace and equilibrium have been reestablished. He quit and they have flopped them selves down in front of the T.V. Sigh!!!

Hang onto the indications that they are growing up for solace during the bad times when they aren't.
Maybe it was all a ploy so she didn't have to clean up. That's what I'd do.
