Tanner turned 2 on November 30th which just happens to be the same day he was born and the same day he turned one on.  :)   I am a little late on his birthday post.  But here are some pictures.

Tanner with Cassandra

Tanner you are extremely head strong and determined.    You already see and do things that most Moms would never let their 2 year old child do but you insist on doing them anyway...running the microwave, browning hamburger, vacuuming the floor, pouring your own milk, etc.  For a few nights in a row you woke up and wanted to go down stairs and play in the middle of the night.  The second or third night of fighting you and finally letting you win I knew that I couldn't allow it anymore.  I held you and insisted you go back to bed or snuggle with me.  After about an hour and a half of screaming I was beside myself wondering how I was going to handle you.  Suddenly I had the most peaceful feeling that your determination to do is what would allow you to have a normal productive life despite the limitations severe allergies, eczema, etc. would put on some people.  I now love your determination and love seeing all that you accomplish.  I love you!!!!!

Woah, Jenny finally got Married!! ;)

Jenny got married on Oct. 12, 2014 to Guy Foster.  Welcome to the family Guy.

Kaitlyn's Birthday!!

Every year we have had a birthday party for Kait.  This year I just never got around to planning one.  I was pregnant and a bit uneasy about the pregnancy.  I sat down with Kait and said,  "would it be ok if we don't do a party this year? Maybe you and I can just go do something fun instead."   I can tell she is getting older because she was ok with that.  She still wanted one but understood that I was tired and busy.  Of course, she said, " that's ok Mom.   Maybe you and I should just go on a cruise or to Hawaii or something instead."
(We ended up delivering a still born girl on our birthday.  She got to spend the entire day at Grandma's and have a small party with a few cousins and I got to lay in bed allllll day and read.  So it turned out ok for both of us).

Kait I love you.  You are growing up and maturing.  You don't complain about cleaning nearly as much.  You are becoming a great helper with Tanner.  I love that I have always been able to explain a situation to you and you except it for what it is.  I love you!

Caleb's late Birthday post!!

Caleb turned 4 back in June and I am barely blogging it now. But with morning sickness raging and everything else going on I am amazed I am blogging it at all.

You wanted to cut your hair to look like Daddy's.  You did a pretty good job if you ask me.  You did this the day that I found out that I was pregnant.
I was too lazy to put the training wheels back on Hyrum's old bike so I stuck you on it without any and you just took off.
We had a little family party at Grandmas with his new slip and slide and some cousins.

Caleb you are a great big brother.....well most of the time.  ;)

Fun things that I want to remember about you at this age:
You still can't say any of your guttural sounds like C and G but you can tell when we say them wrong so your talking is cute.  If we ask you to say it correctly you just roll your eyes and say," I tan't say it."
We went to a friends house to watch an outdoor movie  a few nights ago and you had to go to the bathroom really bad.  Our friends mom said you ran into the bathroom, slammed the door, and then came out a few minutes later with wet pants but you raised your arms above your head in a victorious stance and said, "yes, I almost made it."
You are sneaky as a mouse.  If any body has a drink or food laying around you sneak up and take a sip or bite and then sneak off.   I have even seen you do it to strangers drinks and I never know if I should say anything to them or not.
You are fearless and will try anything.  When your 15 year old cousin did a back flip off of the slide at Grandma's house you promptly climbed up after him and did a front flip off of it before we could stop you.
You pray that your Aunt Debbie will have a baby almost every prayer you say...including arguing with your primary president, who was needlessly trying  to help you say a prayer,  until she let you say it in your primary prayer.   You are very aware of others.
You and Hyrum play so roughly that I never know if or when I should break up your games because one of you always ends up in tears.
Anyway, I could go on and on but we sure love our "Tabub."  (That's how you say your name).  HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY.

It's been a while so...

This was taken back when Rob was a little younger and still had hair.

Ah kids, they came walking into the kitchen thinking they looked so realistic.

Tanner is updating his facebook page image.

Rob couldn't go to Soldier Hollow with us this year because he had a scout training so Michelle came.  Half way down the huge hill Caleb decided he was done sledding and started to climb out of his tube with Michelle yelling,"No! NO! Stay in it. Don't climb out, don't climb out!"  And then he ran from her and climbed under the fences, etc.  She had to drag him back to the lodge screaming.   So a good time was had by all.   Thanks Michelle.

I mostly sat in the lodge with Tanner to keep him out of the cold but I did go out for just a bit with him to snap some pictures.

"DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!  QUIT TOUCHING THINGS! OK, GET IN THE BASKET NOW!"
"but Mom, I look so cute.  Take a picture of me."
"Yeah, ok, you do look cute. One picture and then put things back and quit touching."

I don't know why but I bought this cheap Santa suit for Rob.  I had him try it on but tried not to let the kids see him in it.  Hyrum got a small glimpse of him and ran and told Kait, "I knew Daddy was Santa, now we know for sure it is him because I just saw him getting ready for the big night."
